Overview

A Dual Solenoid Control Valve is a hydraulically operated control valve equipped with two electrically actuated solenoid valves, providing enhanced reliability, redundancy, and operational flexibility.

The dual solenoid arrangement allows the valve to operate under fail-safe conditions, ensures continuous operation during power or solenoid failure, and enables remote, automatic ON–OFF control in critical water systems.

Working Principle

The valve operates using line pressure combined with dual electrical solenoid control:

  • Under normal operation, the primary solenoid controls the opening or closing of the main valve.
  • The secondary (backup) solenoid ensures valve operation in case of failure of the primary solenoid or power supply.
  • The valve can be configured as Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC), depending on system requirements.
  • The dual solenoid system ensures fast response, secure shut-off, and uninterrupted control.
