Pressure Reducing Valve with Low Flow Bypass Feature
Model-AD-200 LFBP
Overview
A Pressure Reducing Valve with Low Flow Bypass Feature is a hydraulically operated, self-actuated control valve designed to maintain accurate downstream pressure control during both normal and very low flow conditions.
The integrated low flow bypass ensures stable pressure regulation when system demand is minimal, preventing pressure hunting, noise, and valve instability.
This valve is especially suitable for off-peak consumption periods, night flow conditions, and low demand water networks.
Key Benefits
- ✓Stable low flow operation
- ✓Prevents pressure hunting
- ✓Reduces noise and vibration
- ✓Improves system efficiency
- ✓Fully automatic operation
Working Principle
The valve operates using line pressure without external power.
- ✓Under normal or high flow conditions, the main pressure reducing valve modulates to maintain the preset downstream pressure.
- ✓During low or near-zero flow conditions, the bypass line with a small pressure reducing pilot valve allows controlled flow, ensuring accurate pressure regulation.
- ✓When flow demand increases, the main valve resumes operation automatically, while the bypass becomes inactive.
This dual-path operation ensures smooth pressure control across a wide flow range.
